Reading and searching
This website does not use advertising cookies, third-party analytics, or browser fingerprinting scripts. Search works in your browser from a small index of the published entries. There is no account system, mailing-list form, or payment collection.
Technical records
Like most websites, the web server may record an IP address, request time, requested path, browser information, and response status for operation and diagnostics. These records are controlled by the server operator. Search queries typed into the search box are not submitted to an external search provider.

Landscape and woodland photography is provided by the Unsplash community under the Unsplash License. Images and website assets are served from this website; viewing a page does not request them from a photo CDN.
